The key distinction
Your project belongs to you - once it is paid for. The custom, project-specific work we create for you becomes your property after the applicable invoice is paid in full, unless a different licence arrangement is stated in writing.
Our building blocks stay ours. Reusable code, frameworks, internal libraries, generic modules, templates, systems and know-how that we developed independently of your project remain ours, and we may reuse them across other projects.

01 Ownership of Custom Deliverables
Custom project-specific deliverables become the Client's property only after the applicable invoice has been paid in full, unless a different licence arrangement is stated in writing.
02 What CodeAro Retains
CodeAro retains all rights to reusable code, frameworks, development tools, internal libraries, generic modules, utilities, architecture patterns, templates, systems and knowledge developed independently of the Client's project.
CodeAro may reuse generic concepts, techniques and non-confidential components across different projects.
03 Third-Party Components
Where third-party components are used, they remain governed by their original licence conditions.
04 Managed Platforms, SaaS and Licensed Systems
For managed platforms, SaaS products, proprietary themes, licensed systems or CodeAro-hosted software, the Client receives only the licence or usage rights stated in the quotation.
Unless specifically purchased or stated in writing, the Client does not automatically receive ownership of underlying proprietary platform source code.
05 Restrictions on Proprietary Systems
No Client may copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer or attempt to commercially reproduce proprietary CodeAro systems without written permission.
